The American Red Cross provides dedicated services through a local Red Cross Office at Camp Pendleton.

Main responsibilities of the Local Red Cross office:
- Volunteering at Camp Pendleton-Support the Naval Hospital and the Base Clinics at Camp Pendleton to recruit, select and place volunteers for available volunteer opportunities.
- Support service and family members needing to initiate emergency communication.
- Help pregnant women, new mothers and young children to eat well, stay healthy and be active through the WIC Program.
- Aid and support the military and their families through other various programs offered by the Red Cross at Camp Pendleton.
- Liaison between the Hospital Command and the American Red Cross San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter
